2008 is one hell of a year. End of Year 3 NAFA to now, being a kindergarten teacher. Totally way off. Taking my second diploma now which will definitely make a difference in my life as much as the first one did. I'm really grateful for one important thing I learnt from NAFA was knowing how to breathe, project my voice, phonetics and articulation. I miss Claire Devine though I'm kinda afraid of her. LOL. Many thanks to Sazali and Claire who taught me so much in acting class and giving me many chances to explore my capabilities. Thanks to Ma Lao Shi for making my chinese so much articulate now that people thought that I'm cheena. Thanks to Zhang Jing Lao Shi who chose me and gave me the chance to go to Manila and Puerto Princesa to perform during 2006 which gave me much confidence in myself and changing myself. I could feel the difference in my acting skills before and after the trip . It was a good experience. I wished there were more exchange programmes.
It was during my second half of year 2 to year 3 where I discovered I wanted to teach and be around children through my part time job in Kumon. It's great satisfaction when a child has mastered what you had taught. I started giving Chinese tuition to my cousin, work at PAP and also at kumon. Part time teacher and part time student. I started baking ever since 2007 Christmas. Baked my first and second layered cake on 2008 christmas.
During November/ December, I started getting things for my new room, shifted everything and finally it's done. The before and after:
Last day of 2008, had a party over at my place, it's becoming a tradition. LOL. Didn't manage to take pictures of everyone but so many thanks to those who turned up. All thanks to my gang (WQ, TY & SHERMIN, SHUN & LQ, ALEX, MEL & ALANDA) & boyfriend's gang (KEL & VAL, KALY & BRAN, HY, DARLING & WH). Thanks for making it possible.
